Texans Training Camp: Foster returning soon

Texans head coach Gary Kubiak is hoping Arian Foster will be back at practice Sunday.

"We’ll see how he does," Kubiak said after Thursday's afternoon session.

The Texans have just a morning practice on Friday and an off day Saturday.

Foster hasn't practiced during training camp because of a calf injury he suffered during OTAs. He started camp on the Active/PUP list and can't practice until he's removed. In his absence, backup Ben Tate has taken first-team reps.

Foster has had at least 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns in each of the last three seasons.

Kubiak also said linebacker Brian Cushing, who has been working his way back from an ACL surgery, is on schedule to join normal team and hitting drills next week.
