According to a report, Ronnie Brewer has become the newest Houston Rocket.
Marc Stein of ESPN reports that, according to sources, Brewer has agreed to terms to join the Rockets. According to the report, Brewer has agreed to a two-year, partially guaranteed deal.
The guard is known around the league as a defensive specialist. A seven-year NBA veteran, Brewer was a first-round pick in 2006, when the Jazz selected him 14th overall out of Arkansas. His most productive offensive season came in 2009, when he averaged 13.7 points. Brewer split last season with the Knicks and the Thunder, appearing in one playoff game during OKC's postseason run. For the season, Brewer averaged 3.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in 60 games. For his career, Brewer averages 8.2 points a game.
