Donatas Motiejunas departed Monday from Houston to Lithuania. He'll be looking to represent his country for EuroBasket 2013.

The forward left for Lithuania after finishing workouts earlier in the day with the Rockets at the Toyota Center. Motiejunas was named on May 21 to Lithuania's preliminary 15-member national team. Some of the notables on the team include other NBA regulars like the Raptors duo of Linas Kleiza and Jonas Valanciunas.

Motiejunas just finished his rookie NBA season, averaging 5.7 points and 2.1 rebounds in 44 games, including 14 starts. D-Mo had a career-high 19 points with five rebounds on 7-12 shooting in a 111-81 win over the Suns on March 13.

Eurobasket 2013 takes place from September 4-22 in Slovenia. The first tests for the Lithuanian national team will come in warm-up games on August 5 and 6 against Belgium.

Lithuania's EuroBasket 2013 preliminary squad is as follows: Donatas Motiejunas, Mantas Kalnietis, Mindaugas Kuzminskas, Paulius Jankunas, Jonas Maciulis, Robertas Javtokas, Martynas Gecevicius, Adas Juskevicius, Darjus Lavrinovic, Ksistof Lavrinovic, Tomas Delininkaitis, Renaldas Seibutis, Martynas Pocius, Linas Kleiza, and Jonas Valanciunas.
