Brian Cushing seems to be well on his way to recovery from his second season-ending knee injury in as many years.
On Tuesday, Cushing posted this video of himself working out. Something to note, is that he’s not wearing anything on his injured left knee.
Cushing was leading the Texans in tackles until he suffered a tibia plateau fracture and torn LCL in Week 7 against Kansas City. Cushing was hit low by Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles as the Texans captain was blitzing up the middle.
Last offseason, Cushing faced with his toughest challenge of his NFL career as he worked tirelessly to recover from a torn ACL on that same left knee that occurred in Week 5 against the Jets.
