According to Titans safety Bernard Pollard's twitter account, he's been fined $42,000 for his hit on Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson.
"So @nfl said I did "everything right" but 42k later I still get fined. Wow! It's called football but they want 2 hand touch. #TitanUp#"

Johnson suffered a concussion after Pollard, a former teammate of Johnson's in Houston, left his feet and hit the six-time Pro Bowler in the head as he caught a 21-yard pass down the sideline in the fourth quarter of the Texans overtime win over the Titans. Pollard did lead with his shoulder and not his head as hit he Johnson, but after the game he still thought he could possibly be fined by the NFL.
"It's hard for us as defensive players to pick out target, you know, so going high or going low, we ain't right." Pollard said. "It was a no call but we will see what the front office has to say."
Johnson rode a stationary bike on Monday during practice and will undergo the league's concussion protocol this week before he's cleared to play against the Ravens on Sunday.
