The Dynamo have traded midfielder Je-Vaughn Watson to FC Dallas in exchange for a second round pick in 2015, according to the team's website.

Watson, 29, started 13 games and appeared in 19 for the Dynamo. He played in 22 regular season games and three playoff games in 2011.

"I appreciate Je-Vaughn's contribution to the club over the past two seasons,” said Dynamo president Chris Canetti. “I believe this move is in the best interest for both parties. He can begin a new opportunity, and it clears up some roster space that will enable us to make additional moves."
