U.S. men's national coach Jurgen Klinsmann named Houston Dynamo's Corey Ashe and Will Bruin to the team for the CONCACAF Gold Cup Thursday. They will join the 23-man team Monday in San Diego.
It will be the first Gold Cup appearance for both Ashe and Bruin.
Ashe was called to join the national team for the first time earlier this year but declined due to an injured groin. The defender made appearances on the United States' U-23 and U-17 teams previously.
Bruin, a forward, played with the men's national team in a friendly against Canada in January at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston.
The winner of the Gold Cup in 2013 will play the 2015 winner for the right to compete in the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup.
