Texas hoops can't hold lead in UCLA loss

Texas fell to UCLA on Saturday evening at Reliant Stadium.

The Longhorns men's basketball team failed to hold onto a late lead, falling to UCLA 65-63 Saturday evening at Reliant Stadium.

Cameron Ridley had 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead Texas. Jordan Adams had a game-high 18 points and 7 rebounds for UCLA.

The Longhorns were up by six with just under two minutes left but had a couple of missed jumpers and a turnover that resulted in possession
for the Bruins. One back-to-back possessions, Adams was fouled after an offensive rebound and fouled on the ensuing bucket. Shabazz

Johnathan Holmes missed a desperation three at the buzzer to win the game.

The Longhorns face Texas State next Saturday.
