Texas A&M freshman Johnny Manziel has broken down defenses all season long on his way to the Heisman Trophy conversation.

Now, he's getting his first crack at the media.

On Monday, Manziel had his first teleconference and on Tuesday, had his first-ever news conference in front of media members.

Of course, one of the hot topics of discussion was the quarterback's bid to become the first freshman to ever win the Heisman Trophy.

"It would be a dream come true for me to even be able to go to the Heisman ceremony, much less say a speech," Manziel said on Monday.

The 19-year-old has become more than a football player. His nickname, "Johnny Football," has taken the nation by storm and Manziel's play has lived up to the hype.

He has already recorded over 4,600 offensive yards to go along with 43 touchdowns. He also led the Aggies to a win over then-No. 1 Alabama.

"I don't really see myself as the Johnny Football craze that's kind of swept Aggie land and the rest of the nation a little bit," Manziel said. "I see myself as Johnny Manziel, a guy from Kerrville, Texas. Just try to be a laid-back guy who likes to hang out with my friends and be a normal college student like anybody else."
