For the second time this season, Texas freshman center Imani McGee-Stafford has been named the Phillips 66 Big 12 Conference Freshman of the Week. She received her first honor back on Nov. 26.
In a loss at Kansas and win over K-State last week, McGee-Stafford averaged 13 points and 9.5 rebounds. She shot .524 (11-of-21) from the field and .571 (4-of-7) from the free-throw line while adding three assists, two blocks and a steal. With 20 points and 16 rebounds against K-State, McGee-Stafford recorded her first double-double since Jan. 5 and seventh of the season.
