Isaiah Taylor and the Village School downed Redemption Christian Academy 53-45 on Thursday night.

The game was a rematch of an early season contest in which the Vikings of Village School lost by 17. Taylor, headed to the University of Texas, led all scorers with 19 points including a game sealing bucket with under two minutes left.

Khadeem Lattin, the Pride's headline player, was held to 8 points. Lattin fouled out with 4:35 left in the fourth quarter and his 6-8 length was sorely missed on Taylor's drives as the game came to a close.

Lattin is one of the top juniors in the country and is being heavily recruited by a number of top teams in the nation. Assistant coaches from Memphis and Oklahoma were on hand to watch the contest and to speak with him after.

Lattin is homeschooled and is the grandson of David Big Daddy Lattin of the Texas Western team that won the 1966 NCAA championship.
