CSN Houston has confirmed an earlier report that Stephen Hill is no longer head football coach at The Kinkaid School.

The school released the following statement from its Headmaster, Andy Martire:

Stephen Hill, who has been Head Football Coach for the past four years and Assistant Athletic Director since 2011, has left Kinkaid to pursue other coaching opportunities.  Nathan Larned will serve as Interim Head Football Coach and continue as Defensive Coordinator for the remainder of the season. The School will undertake a comprehensive national search to fill this position at the conclusion of the season.

Hill was a finalist last season for The Touchdown Club of Houston's Private School Coach of the Year.
