J.J. Watt will serve as one of four active player captains for this year's Pro Bowl.

The Texans' defensive end will be paired with Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles. Saints quarterback Drew Brees and Rams defensive end Robert Qunn will be the other pairing to help alumni captains Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders pick teams.

The four captains were chosen from the top two leading vote getters on offense and defense. This is Watt's second consecutive trip to the Pro Bowl.

There will be a coin toss on Jan. 21 to determine which player captains will be paired with the alumni captains. A coin toss will also determine which team owns the first selection in their draft.

While the Texans had a 2-14 season, Watt was still very good. He didn't put up the numbers from his Defensive Player of the Year season but still caused major problems for opposing offenses.
