A handful of current and former Texans recently tested out their skills in the kitchen.

In the holiday spirit of giving, Texans offensive linemen Wade Smith, Duane Brown and Chris Myers along with former Texans player Travis Johnson teamed up with Frank’s Pizza in downtown Houston to make about 30 pizzas. The players made around 10 of the pies (the restaurant made the rest) and of course it became a competition among the players on who made the best pizza. (Watch the attached video to see what they had to say about it).

The players gave out pizzas at a local homeless shelter, Open Door Mission, and also passed out pizzas to the homeless out on the streets. This was the first-ever event for a foundation called Gabbi’s Heart, which is a branch of The Wade Smith Foundation.
