Kevin Walter is staying in the AFC South.

The Tennessee Titans have agreed to a one-year deal with the former Texans wide receiver. He'll see the Texans twice next season.

Walter, 31, was cut by the Texans at the beginning of free agency. He caught 41 passes for 518 yards and two touchdowns in 2012. Walter was the Texans' No. 2 receiver.

Without Walter on the team, the Texans are a little light at wideout. They have Andre Johnson, Lestar Jean, Keshawn Martin and a recovering DeVier Posey (Achilles). There is a lot of speculation that the Texans will use their first-round pick on a wideout.

Walter's best season came in 2008, when he caught 60 passes for 899 yards and eight touchdowns. He hasn't had more than 621 receiving yards since then.
