The Texans have signed tight end Adam Schiltz, according to his agent via Twitter.

Schiltz was an undrafted free agent out of Emporia State. He was at Texans rookie camp earlier this spring.

With 89 players on the roster, the Texans won't need to cut anyone to fill the spot. The Texans also worked out veteran Billy Bajema, but decided to go with a younger player.

The Texans have Owen Daniels and Garrett Graham as veterans. Ryan Griffin is a rookie who has been getting reps but Phillip Supernaw has a foot injury that has kept him out of action since the beginning of OTAs.
