The Texans made a minor move on Wednesday, re-signing backup cornerback Elbert Mack, a league source confirmed to CSN Houston.

Mack, 27, was a solid special teamer for the 2013 team, playing in eight games.

Before the Texans, Mack spent 2012 with the Saints and the four years previous with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In his six-year career, the 5-10 corner from Troy has six interceptions (two returned for touchdowns) and 74 tackles.
