The Texans lost two more players from their 2012 season.
And it seems like they're going in pairs. This time, the Jacksonville Jaguars have signed running back Justin Forsett and cornerback Alan Ball.
This comes after the Eagles signed a pair of former Texans in Connor Barwin and James Casey.
Forsett was the Texans' third running back for most of last year but played a large role in the offense at times. He finished the season with 374 yards on 63 carries and a touchdown. His infamous 81-yard touchdown happened on Thanksgiving Day against the Lions.
While backup Ben Tate was out for a considerable amount of time with hamstring injury, Forsett became Arian Foster's backup and earned considerable playing time. With Foster's amount of carries and Tate's inability to stay healthy. He missed all of 2010 and missed five games in 2012. Foster and Tate are the only running backs on the Texans' roster right now.
Before coming to Houston in 2012, Forsett spend time in Seattle and Indianapolis. He was a seventh-round pick in 2008.
Ball came to Houston after spending his first five seasons in the NFL with Dallas. He started one game but missed a good portion of time with a toe injury. A source tells CSNHouston's Kelli Johnson that Ball's deal is for two years.
