Reliant Stadium is no more.

The Harris County Sports & Convention Corporation (HCSCC) has voted to authorize the rebranding of Reliant Park. So, effective immediately, the new names are NRG Park, NRG Stadium, NRG Center, NRG Arena and NRG Astrodome.

The signs on the stadium and the park are expected to be changed by the start of the 2014 Texans season.

The stadium has been called Reliant Stadium since 2002, when the energy company bought the naming rights.

The Houston Chronicle first reported the name change last week. It became official on Wednesday.

The soon-to-be NRG Stadium has a capacity of over 71,000. Since the start of the team, the Texans are 46-50 all time at home and are 33-63 on the road. Their only two playoff wins have come at home. They're 2-0 at home in the playoffs and are 0-2 on the road.
