The flurry of Texans' roster moves on Monday left a spot open on the practice squad.

The team filled that spot with defensive back Steven Terrell on Tuesday.

Ray Graham, who was on the practice squad, was one of five players signed to the active roster.

Terrell, who played collegiately at Texas A&M, was on the Jaguars' practice squad until Sept. 17. He was with the Jags in camp after going undrafted but was cut in late August.

Terrell appeared in 52 games and made 24 starts with the Aggies. He had 139 tackles, four interceptions, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in his college career. Terrell started all 13 games as a senior. He'll join fellow Aggie EZ Nwachukwu on the practice squad.

Terrell played his high school football for the Allen Eagles.
