McCardell on Antonio Smith/Incognito incident
Texans defensive lineman Antonio Smith might be facing some discipline from the NFL
During the preseason game on Saturday, video shows the Smith and Richie Incognito getting into a scuffle. In the video, Smith clearly rips off Incognito's helmet and swings it at him.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the NFL is reviewing the video and says they are looking at it as "being beyond a football action." A suspension of one or two games is the expectation, according to Rapoport.
After the game, Smith was asked by CSNHouston how he liked battling with Incognito again.
"Next question," he said.
Then, he was asked what happened on that specific play.
"I kind of took a blow to the head," Smith said."I can't remember."
Smith was fined $11,000 last year for kicking Incognito in Week 1. That fine was reduced from $21,000.
