Shooting the Bull: Reed's status; look at Week 2

Ed Reed is officially listed as questionable for the Texans' home opener on Sunday.

Reed, 35, has been practicing this week and will be a game-time decision on Sunday. He missed the season opener on Monday. Reed had hip surgery this offseason after being signed by the Texans.

After having a better week of work leading up to Sunday's game, the team will likely work him out shortly before Sunday's kickoff to see if he can play.

"No, nothing different," head coach Gary Kubiak said on Friday. "He took a good portion of practice today. I'm going to go in and visit with him and see where we're at. It'll be a game-time decision."

Reed is the only Texan listed as questionable. Four Titans -- Zaviar Gooden (ankle), Shonn Greene (knee), David Stewart (calf) and Damian Williams (hamstring) -- were all questionable.
