Ed Reed was a full-go in Wednesday’s practice. But Wednesday’s practice wasn’t very strenuous.

“We’re pretty light at practice today, coming off such of a quick turnaround,” head coach Kubiak said. “Practice was pretty much a jog through but we accounted for pretty much everybody at practice.”

Kubiak said Reed took “his reps and more” but the team will have a better idea about his availability for Sunday on Thursday, when the team is back in pads.

Reed, who turned 35 on Wednesday, had hip surgery this offseason. He missed all of the spring practices, training camp, the preseason and was inactive in the Week 1 opener. He’s still day-to-day heading into Sunday’s home opener against the Titans. Shiloh Keo started Week 1.

“There’s nothing that’s happened between Monday and today,” Kubiak said. “He’s progressing. He’s doing good, so let’s see where we’re at.”

Other injuries
Darryl Sharpton was on the practice fields on Wednesday but still hasn’t passed the NFL’s concussion protocol. He could pass it on Thursday.

Cornerback Brice McCain, who needed to get his knee evaluated after Monday’s game, was fine and back at practice on Thursday.
