The Texans won't have to worry about Terrelle Pryor on Sunday.

The Raiders have ruled out their dual-threat quarterback with a knee injury. In his place, Matt McGloin will start.

Pryor, in his third season, has thrown for 1,559 yards this year and has 504 yards rushing.

"He's the biggest, fastest quarterback in the league," Texans defensive coordinator Wade Phillips said.

McGloin, an undrafted player from Penn State, will make his first NFL start on Sunday. McGloin has played in just one NFL game this season, completing 7 of 15 passes for 87 yards.

Along with Pryor, S Tyvon Branch, WR Juron Criner, CB D.J. Hayden and RB Darren McFadden have also been ruled out.

The Texans have ruled out Ryan Griffin and Elbert Mack. Joe Mays, Kareem Jackson, Shane Lechler and Mike Mohamed are questionable.
