Saints +8.5 AT Seahawks

That December blowout loss wasn’t just the Saints worst loss this season, it was one of the worst since Sean Payton and Drew Brees came to New Orleans. And since that 34-7 embarrassment, Seattle’s offense has been quite pedestrian:

L 19-17 at SF

W 23-0 at NYG

L 17-10 vs Ari

W 27-9 vs STL

The Saints don’t just owe Seattle for that game, they owe them for the 2011 playoff loss when Marshawn Lynch ripped off one of the best runs in playoff history. The layoff could absolutely hurt Seattle and the Saints look like they have the dangerous 6-seed DNA. They’ve broken the ‘not winning on the road in the playoffs’ ice, and oh-by-the-way 6 seeds are 5-2 against 1-seeds in these matchups.

Also, just about everyone who has picked the Seahawks (which is pretty much everyone), has still picked the Saints to cover. 27-20, 24-17, 20-17 etc. The Saints are not going to cover and not win.

Saints 27-21.

Patriots -7.5 VS Colts

I feel for Chiefs fans, I really do. Especially since they were my playoff survivor pick.  But the other guy got suckered in by the Bengals so we’re both alive. There has never been a more Andy Reid moment than calling a timeout OUT OF THE TWO MINUTE WARNING!!! I, along with the rest of Philadelphia, just had to knowingly shake my head. The Colts believe they can come back regardless of deficit or opponent so you can’t count out the Colts until the clock hits zero.

The Patriots can pound the ball with LeGarrette  Blount (265 yds and 4 TD in the last two games), and Kansas City killed the Colts with the slot receiver. You know Tom Brady is going to exploit that with Julian Edelman (his leading receiver the last 3 weeks).

Patriots 30-17
