AFC: Patriots +4 at Broncos

A four-point spread is a funny number. Kinda makes me think Vegas is as about ready to flip a coin on Brady vs. Manning like the rest of us. Manning needs it more than Brady for his legacy, but everyone outside of the greater New England/Boston area is cheering for Manning. I’m gonna say it comes down to a late big time pass to Wes Welker – a pass he dropped in the Super Bowl with the Patriots and earlier this season with the Broncos against the Patriots (not to mention the costly botched punt return) – does he catch it this time?

Broncos 38-35

NFC: 49ers +3 at Seahawks

I’m thinking Seattle pulls it out. Russell Wilson has had two of his lowest passing days against the 49ers, I like the Jim Harbaugh khakis and San Fran is red-hot riding that eight-game winning streak, not to mention they are the defending NFC champs. But I can’t get past just how dominant Seattle’s defense was all season and especially last week against New Orleans. Not having Percy Harvin isn’t that big a deal, they didn’t have him most of the season. It’s time for Wilson’s defining, playoff, game-winning drive.

Seahawks 23 -21

Last Week: 3-1 Season: 126-117-7
