The Tennessee Titans' defense now has two weapons that could cause problems for the Texans this coming weekend.
Linebacker Zach Brown and defensive tackle Jurrell Casey are forming a tandem that gave the Pittsburgh Steelers fits. The Titans' defense held the Steelers to 32 yards rushing with Brown and Casey supplying a significant amount of havoc
Brown sacked Ben Roethlisberger twice and collected 10 tackles. Looking back into last year, Brown has racked up two Pick Sixes, 35 tackles and five sacks in four games.
Casey turned in an equal amount of destruction with a pair of sacks and a forced fumble. He led all Tennessee defensive linemen with 80 tackles last season.
“When you turn the film on week in and week out, even last year, there’s guys that you see and you realize these guys are good football players,” coach Mike Munchak said. “I think Jurrell Casey has been good for the last three years. Last year he was injured, so he didn’t have as many big plays.
“(Brown) just continues to get better. I think he’s understanding the game. He understands how he can affect the game. When you’re a guy his size who can run like he does … he’s a tough matchup.”
