ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper released his first mock draft on Wednesday.

And he has Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel going to the Texans with the first pick.

Remember, it's still early. Really, really early. There are still about four months until the draft on May 8-10, so a lot can change.

In fact, new Texans coach Bill O'Brien said he hasn't even started to look at potential draft picks; he's still looking at the team he inherited from 2013.

The Texans definitely need a quarterback; it was a position where they struggled last year. And drafting a quarterback makes sense. There are other options too. Kiper has two other quarterbacks in his top 10: Blake Bortles to the Browns at No. 4 and Teddy Bridgewater to the Vikings at No. 8.

Kiper has Texas A&M tackle Jake Matthews going second to the Rams and South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, whom owner Bob McNair raved about on Tuesday, going third to the Jaguars.
