Kareem Jackson practiced on Wednesday, albeit in a limited role.

Jackson has missed the past two games with a fracture in his first rib. In the last two games, Brice McCain has started.

“He looked pretty good in what he did,” head coach Gary Kubiak said of Jackson on Wednesday. “Pretty cold day out there, hard to get going. Only had him take a few reps but we challenged him with the ball a little bit so it was a step in the right direction.”

Antonio Smith was an excused absence on Wednesday to take “care of personal business.”

Darryl Sharpton and Wade Smith missed practice on Wednesday, which has been normal for most of the season.

Safety Jawanza Starling is still not practicing.
