While watching the Academy Awards on Sunday night, you might have heard an interesting announcement.

No, not best picture or best supporting actor.

Instead, it was announced that former Texan and recent Super Bowl champion Jacoby Jones will be on the next season of "Dancing With the Stars."

He is the first contestant ABC has named for the show's new season, which starts on March 18. The other contestants will be announced on Good Morning America on Tuesday.

Jones, 28, was released by the Texans last offseason before signing a deal with the Ravens. The wideout is known for his post-touchdown celebration dances. He had a chance for two of them in the Super Bowl, when he caught a touchdown pass and returned a kickoff 108 yards for another.

Former NFL players Emmitt Smith, Hines Ward and Donald Driver have won "Dancing With the Stars" in the past.
