Texans defensive end Antonio Smith is reportedly being suspended for one regular season game and the rest of the preseason after ripping off Richie Incognito's helmet and swinging it at him.

Smith will reportedly appeal the suspension. Meanwhile, Incognito was asked about the incident.

“Football is an intense game,” Incognito said to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. ”It’s played with a lot of passion, blood runs hot. I’ve been there. I’m no choirboy. People lost their cool and just thank God nobody got hurt.”

This isn't the first time Smith and Incognito have had a run-in. Last year, Smith was fined $21,000 for kicking Incognito in Week 1. That fine was reduced to $11,000.
