Veteran wideout Andre Johnson hasn’t shown up for the voluntary OTAs this spring. But next week, the three-day minicamp is mandatory.

Then, the Texans can start to fine him.

According to the CBA, Johnson can be fined up to $11,575 on Day 1, $23,150 on Day 2 and $34,730 on Day 3. So the total amount the team can fine him for the three days (if they choose) is $69,455.

Johnson's base salary in 2014 is $10 million after he hit an escalator so he can probably afford the $69,455 if he chooses to skip.

Before the start of OTAs, a frustrated Johnson said he wasn't planning on attending OTAs or the mandatory minicamp. The Texans have three more days of voluntary practices this week.
