Former Texans head coach Gary Kubiak has a new job.

The Ravens have hired Kubiak to be their new offensive coordinator. And former Texans OC Rick Dennison is going with him. Dennison was named the team's quarterback coach. The two met with the Ravens on Sunday.

"Gary Kubiak was on the list from the beginning," Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said during the press conference on Monday. "It became apparent this had a chance to be a fit for both coaches and the Ravens."

It's no surprise that Kubiak and Dennison are reunited. The two have been longtime co-workers and friends since their playing days in Denver. When Kubiak was fired this past season, Dennison refused to talk about it to the media.

The Texans will host the Ravens at Reliant Stadium in 2014, which will be a homecoming for the former head coach and offensive coordinator.

Kubiak, 52, will replace Jim Caldwell, who left to become the Detroit Lions' head coach.

Kubiak was fired with three weeks remaining in the 2013 season after a 2-11 start. The Texans went 2-14 and hired Bill O'Brien as their new head coach.

Kubiak finished his career as Texans head coach with a 61-64 record. Before he was head coach in Houston, he was an offensive coordinator in Denver.
