Another Texan has become an Eagle.

This time, Philadelphia -- desperate for secondary help -- signed cornerback Roc Carmichael from the Texans' practice squad.

Carmichael, a fourht-round pick in 2011, lost his roster spot to undrafted rookie A.J. Bouye. He was waived and then added to the practice squad.

Carmichael looked very good in training camp but his success was limited to the practice field.

He'll join Donnie Jones, Connor Barwin, James Casey, DeMeco Ryans and Jeff Maehl as former Texans in Philly.

The Texans' practice squad is at seven, one shy of the eight-man maximum.
