Three of the most important Texans were back at practice on Wednesday.

As the Texans play host to the Falcons for the first of two joint practices, Brian Cushing, Andre Johnson and Arian Foster are all dressed and ready to practice.

Cushing was activated from the Active/PUP list. Wednesday is the first time this season he’ll practice with the team. Cushing’s 2013 season ended early when he tore his LCL and broke his leg. It was his second season-ending knee injury in two years.

Cushing has been saying all along that his goal was to be ready for the first game of the season. It appears that’s very likely to happen as he’s back at practice before the second preseason game.

Johnson and Foster both had minor leg injuries. Foster hurt his leg on Sunday, July 27 and practiced just once since then. Johnson hurt his hamstring making a diving catch on July 28 and hadn’t practiced since.

Cornerback Johnathan Joseph is still not dressed for practice. He had toe surgery last winter.
