Andre Johnson skipped all of the Texans' spring practices but on Friday morning, when veterans were scheduled to report to training camp, Johnson joined the team for training camp, according to a source.

All week long talks between Johnson and the Texans had been moving in the right direction and the possibility of Johnson reporting on time for camp looked very likely.

Johnson was at NRG Stadium on Monday, according to the source. ESPN.com reported that Johnson went to the facility to learn the team's new offense. Johnson has also spoken to head coach Bill O'Brien several times during the offseason.

The last time he spoke publicly, to NFL Network, Johnson said he hoped he would be with the Texans at camp but said he wasn't sure if he'd be with the team for Week 1.

Johnson first voiced his frustration early in the spring at a charity function. He said his frustration stemmed from the team's losing.

Johnson lost a $1 million workout bonus by not attending spring practices.

Practice for the Texans starts on July 26.
