George Springer had a great 2013 season, splitting time between Double-A Corpus Christi and Triple-A Oklahoma City.

And the Astros' rising star is the 2013 MiLB Offensive Player of the Year.

Springer didn't win the fan vote in the category (Devon Travis won that) but took the end-of-the-season award from the MiLB staff.

Springer finished his year with 37 home runs and 45 steals. He also batted .303 with a .411 on-base percentage and a 1.010 OPS.

He took six of the 11 first-place votes and he wasn't lower than second on any of the ballots.
