Jonathan Singleton’s stop in Corpus Christi on his promotion tour is over. The first baseman was promoted to triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday.

Singleton, who has played at low-A Quad Cities and double-A Corpus Christi since coming off a 50-game suspension for testing positive for a banned substance, hit .263 with two home runs and eight RBIs in 11 games for the Hooks.

Singleton, who was acquired by Houston as part of the Hunter Pence trade with the Phillies in 2011, is ranked as the top prospect in the Astros’ system and the top first base prospect in the minor leagues according to Baseball America.
