Eduardo Perez won't return to the Astros next season.

Without Perez next season, Pat Listach will move from coaching first base to coach third base. The Astros have also hired Tarrik Brock to coach first base.

Brock, 40, spent the last seven seasons as the club's minor league outfield and baserunning coach. Brock spent part of 2010 as the Marlins' first base coach and worked with Astros manager Bo Porter from 2006-09 in Florida.

Brock played 13 seasons as a professional. He was in the majors with the Cubs in 2000 and had minor league stings with the Tigers, Mariners, Rockies, Cubs and Dodgers. He was a second-round pick in 1991.

Listach, 46, was hired to be the first base coach but will take over duties at third. In 2013, he was with the Dodgers as the team's minor league infield coordinator. He was on two major league staffs from 2009-12. Listach played six major league seasons.
