Progress in the Astros' process can be seen in how they're handling a loss such as Friday night's 6-1 defeat to the Rays.
After all the recent winning, and with baseball's season so long, the ability to move on past a loss is something that develops. It's not about being okay with it. It's being able to move on from it.
"We all understand the grind that comes with a major league season," Bo Porter said. "It's not always going to be the way you want it to be each and every night, but that's part of maturity. A part of maturity is being to have games like this and being able to put it behind you and move on to the next day.
"You can't let a bad today ruin a great tomorrow."
