Less than three weeks after losing him to the Yankees via waivers, the Astros have re-claimed reliever Mickey Storey from New York.
Storey, whom the Yankees claimed on waivers on Nov. 20, was designated for assignment by New York five days ago. The 26-year-old right-hander appeared in 26 games out of the Astros' bullpen last season, going 0-1 with a 3.86 ERA. He struck out 34 in 30 1/3 innings and walked only 10 hitters.
The re-addition of Storey gives the Astros 40 players on their 40-man roster.
