Drake is coming to Houston.

The Grammy award-winning artist will kick off his first annual four-day Houston Appreciation Weekend (HAW) highlighted by Houston Appreciation Night when the Astros host the Arizona Diamondbacks at Minute Maid Park on Thursday, June 12 at 7:10 p.m. With Drake involved, you know the pregame ceremony won’t be anything less than spectacular. Prior to this game, Drake will host over 50 children from the Astros Urban Youth Academy and RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) program for a special pregame meet and greet. They will also get dinner and tickets to the game.

Last fall, Drake showed off his Astros tattoo on Instagram. It’s no secret he has deep roots in Houston and has long supported the city’s organizations, sports teams and initiatives. Houston is where the star began building his empire with the support and encouragement of one of the city’s biggest celebrities, Bun B, who is also known as a huge supporter of Houston sports teams and community initiatives. Drake is also known for his passion for empowering and improving the lives of children, so this special appreciation weekend will serve to raise awareness for several Houston-area charitable organizations, including the Astros Foundation.

Fans can get involved in the  superstar’s fundraising efforts for the Houston area by buying tickets to the special Drake Section at the ballpark for that Thursday night game. A portion of each ticket sold will benefit a local charity of Drake’s choosing. In this section, fans will receive an exclusive Houston Appreciation Night t-shirt. Proceeds from a raffle where Drake will give out a handful of different autographed Astros gift packs will also going towards a local charity. Limited tickets are available for this section.

Other events Drake is holding over HAW include a concert, pool party and basketball tournament. Here is Drake's tweet with the weekend's schedule:
