Astros' Altuve needs your vote in Face of MLB contest

The Astros and Cardinals may not be in the same division or even league for that matter, but there is still some fierce competition.

Houston All-Star second baseman Jose Altuve and St. Louis All-Star catcher Yadier Molina are facing off in the first round of MLB Network’s second “Face of MLB” contest. It’s a bracket-style tournament with results being determined by fans on Twitter. The preliminary round opened in mid-December with a player from each of the league’s 30 clubs being chosen to represent their team. Last year’s overall winner of the contest was Cincinnati Reds first baseman MVP Joey Votto.

In this first round, you must use #JoseAltuve and #FaceofMLB in your Twitter votes. A maximum of 25 votes per Twitter account is allowed. Voting begins at 9 a.m. ET each morning and ends at 8 a.m. ET the next morning, so let’s get it going Astros fans -- tight window for voting!
