Jones talks about his assist on Terrence Ross' dunk
Terrence Jones said it was a "dream come true" to help good buddy Terrence Ross win the dunk contest during All-Star Weekend in Houston.
Ross took a ball caromed off the bottom side of the backboard by Jones and did a 360 windmill dunk. Ross would go on to defeat Jeremy Evans in the finals of the Slam Dunk Competition.
"It was just a dream come true for us to go back to what we dreamed of back in high school, to it really happening, was just amazing," Jones said.
On his pass, Jones said, "It was a tough one, but I had a lot of confidence in him, the way he jumps, and I'm just going to put it where he needed it. It was fun."
Jones and Ross were high school teammates at Portland's Jefferson High School and are good friends. Jones played his college ball at Kentucky. Ross played at the University of Washington.
