The Rockets and Royce White have come to an agreement and White has been reinstated effective immediately.

The rookie is expected to join the team's D-League affiliate in Rio Grande Valley on Feb. 11.

In a press release, the Rockets and White jointly state that their agreement "addresses the major issues that they have been discussing, provides a new start, and gives Royce the best opportunity for long term success as a Houston Rocket" and that it's been "a learning process for both parties."

Both the NBA and NBPA have approved of the settlement.

White's battle with his anxiety disorder has been well chronicled.

The saga between White and the Rockets began when he missed an early portion of the preseason, came back, then left the team before ever playing in a regular season game. The Rockets officially sent him to the D-League on Dec. 29. White refused the demotion the next day. The Rockets suspended him on Jan. 6.

White was the Rockets' 2012 first-round pick (16th overall) from Iowa State.
