Rockets come out of gate running in 3Q vs. Spurs
The Rockets started out the second half against the Spurs like they started out the first -- pushing the pace and getting to the rim.
Check out these back-to-back plays to start out the third quarter. First it was good defense by the Rockets that ended with a fastbreak one-handed jam by Dwight Howard. Then Terrence Jones got a block on the other end and cleaned up a Jeremy Lin driving layup on the offensive end for the dunk to take a 64-51 lead right out of the gate.
Howard already had a double-double at halftime and at the 4:58 mark in the third quarter, he had 13 points and 16 rebounds while Jones had 15 points and 10 boards.
