Everybody knows about the epic meltdown by the Rockets on Thursday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
They scored a season-high 73 points in the first half only to score a season-low 19 points in the second as they went on to lose 104-92. In postgame interviews, the players didn't realize they scored so few points in that second half until the media brought it up to them, but they weren't surprised since they all say they played so poorly.
"We just couldn't score," Rockets head coach Kevin McHale said.
"We got open shots, we just didn't get them to go," Rockets guard James Harden said.
"I think we kind of ran out of gas," Rockets guard Jeremy Lin said.
