With the Miami Heat's win over the Raptors on Sunday, Erik Spoelstra has been named as the Eastern Conference's team in the All-Star game on Feb. 17 in Houston.

The Heat (30-14) clinched the best record in the conference by Feb. 3, which was the cutoff date to determine the All-Star coach.

The West will be coached by San Antonio's Gregg Popovich. The Chicago Bulls’ Tom Thibodeau and the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Scott Brooks coached in last year’s All-Star Game and were ineligible for the honor this year.

Spoelstra is in his fifth season as Miami's coach and led the Heat to the NBA title last season. Under Spoelstra, the Heat have won two division titles, two conference championships and the one NBA Championship.
