Rockets struggle on the road (Chinese)
In this edition of the Mandarin Minute, Howard Chen breaks down some of the key topics surrounding the Rockets' last few games.
The Rockets have been busy, playing four games over the last five days. The last two games were road games back to back. First, the team lost 103-91 to the Celtics. This was the game where James Harden's consecutive run of games with at least 25 points came to an end. It was also the game where the Rockets struggled immensely from the free throw line. The Rockets shot 12-29 (41.4 percent) from the stripe. Omer Asik was 1-8.
In their next game on the next day, the Rockets improved. They finished 18-22 from the free throw line. Asik was a perfect 4-4. Harden had a pretty good game (including a dazzling fourth quarter lay-up when he went behind-the-back through the legs on the way to the hoop). He finished with 29 pionts, nine rebounds, and six assists. Unfortunately, the Rockets lost 107-100.
It was their third straight loss. Next, the Rockets come back home on Tuesday to face the Clippers. However, with the Clips sitting with the NBA's second-best record, home cooking may not be as much of an advantage come gameday.
