Highlights: Rockets smash Cavaliers

The Rockets came to the Toyota Center with similar energy compared to the Jazz game and similar results followed.

Houston beat the Cavs 116-78 behind dominating inside play. Omer Asik had another double double (13 points, 11 rebounds). James Harden led with 20 points. Chandler Parsons added 13 points.

The Rockets were up only three points after the opening quarter. Then, the second quarter happened. The Rockets grabbed all the offensive boards in existence in that frame and outhustled the Cavs to loose balls. By the time Carlos Delfino nailed a three at the buzzer, the Rockets were up a commanding 58-43.

The Rockets shot 44-77 for 57.1 percent. From distance, they were 10-for-29 (34.5 percent).

The Rockets were 18-27 from the charity stripe (66.7 percent). Not bad. Not great.

Omer Asik had dunks in both the first and second halves. Donatas Motiejunas had a nice move to the hoop for a dunk in the first half. Harden rose up on the break and flushed it down after a Eurostep in the second quarter. And yes, there was that Delfino buzzer-beating three.

Thomas Robinson got up for a dunk in the fourth. Yup, lots of good plays for the Rockets. To put icing on the cake, James Anderson followed a miss with a not-miss AKA an amazing follow slam with plenty of attitude behind it.

The schedule gets tricky starting now or, rather, Sunday. Houston hosts the Spurs. 'Nuf said. However, the game is at home, so the team will have Red Nation behind them.
